Woking Leisure Centre 50+ Club

This walk was led by Tony Fox, starting from the Old Epson Road in East Clandon. The photos were taken by Clive Woodland. The walk crossed the A246 into Blake’s Lane. After a short while it turned right onto a byway which led to a steady climb up to Fullers Farm and on to Woodcote Lodge. From there it turned right towards Combe Lane where it joined the North Downs Way, bordering West Hanger. From there it turned north towards New and Old Scotland farms. Having passed the Tillingbourne Brewery on the left it continued north through the trees to an excellent panorama north towards Woking and Wisley. The path then descended across the field to a style on to Staple Lane. The route continued north and down to cross the A246 to return to the starting point. Several walkers then had lunch in the Bulls Head in West Clandon.
